Richard Ward ( 1916-1993)

Landscape artist in watercolour & painter of windmills, kachina dolls, wildlife and transport. Born 16/10/1916. Self taught artist. Produced artwork for the Brook Bond tea picture card series, aircraft illustrations for the 'Profiles' series of magazines and cards for Noel Tatt. Served in the war in the RAF. Lived in Grantham, Lincs and then Whitstable, Kent in the mid-1980s. Died 9/3/1993.

Produced artwork for S Region (B) series.
