Langhammer ( 1905-1977)

Possibly may be Walter Langhammer, but this has not been verified. Born Austria. Worked for International Artists Agency. Professor at the Vienna Academy, Vienna. 1938. Fled to India from Austria during Nazi occupation of World War II and there he led the art movement in Bombay. Chairman, Bombay Art Society, Bombay. 1939 Art Director, Times of India, Bombay. Exhb. Bombay Art Society 1945, 49, 53 Exhb., University Convocation Hall, Bombay, 1938. Gold Medal, Bombay Art Society 1939. Produced posters for BR.
