Raymond Teague Cowern (RA, RWS, RE, RWA, RBSA, ARCA 1913-1986)

Painter in tempera & watercolour, etcher. Born 12/7/1913 and educated Birmingham. Studied at Central School of Art, Birmingham and RCA 1931-35. Later went to British School 1937-39. Became member of RWS in 1947. Is represented in several public collections. Lived Brighton for many years. Produced posters for Irish International Airlines.

Produced artwork for LNER Post-War series.
