William Sidney Causer (RI, RBSA, NS, SMA 1876-1958)

Painter of town scenes and landscapes mainly in watercolour. Born Wolverhampton and studied art at Wolverhampton School of Art, and in London and Italy. Held one man shows at the Leger Gallery & Fine Art Society. Painted widely in Spain and had to flee due to Civil War. Widely exhibited. Lived London, Kensington for many years. Died 18/12/1958.

Produced artwork for LNER Post-War series.
