Edward Mortelmans ( 1915-2008)

Artist in gouache and watercolour, illustrator. Born 1915. Worked for Artists Partners Ltd at Hyde Park, London. Illustrated books incl Mary O'Hara classic 'Thunderhead', Gerald Durrell's "Beasts in my Belfry" etc. Exhibited at RA in 1945. Lived at Holloway, London. Died 2008. Produced posters for London Transport.

Produced artwork for LMR 'History' series.
