Horace Wright (FRSA, USA, RWSAC 1888-1960)

Pharmacist, artist in watercolour, pencil and pen of old street landscapes, illustrator. Born Stamford, Lincs 21/4/1888. Educated at Eversley, Stamford. Studied art at Press Art School. Was a respected chemist and businessman in Edgware, Middlesex. Elected to RSA in 1944. Exhibited at RA. Illustrated books in the 'Garden of England' series. Died 12/9/1960.

Produced artwork for LNER Post-War series.
