Eric R Scott ( 1904-1960)

Painter of landscapes in watercolour, particularly of Suffolk and Kent. Born 12/1/1904, Madras, India. Came to England 1925. Trained as an electrical engineer. Started painting in 1933. Lived Bromley, Kent and Walberswick, Suffolk from 1950. Exhibited at RA 1935, 1949. Full time artist from 1950. Died 10/7/1960. His son, Richard is also an artist in Suffolk.

Produced artwork for LNER Post-War series.
