Landscape artist, illustrator, designer. Born Purley, Surrey 5/10/1930. Educated Barnsbury Secondary School. Studied art at St Albans School of Art, London College of Printing and Graphic Arts. Freelance from 1962. Designer of British stamps and illustrator of 'Shell' and other books. Represented in many collections. Is currently President of the Royal Institue of Painters in Watercolours. Lives at Welwyn, Herts. Produced posters for BR and the Post Office.
