Ronald Maddox (PRI, Hon RWS, FCSD, FSAI 1930-2018)

Landscape artist, illustrator, designer. Born Purley, Surrey 5/10/1930. Educated Barnsbury Secondary School. Studied art at St Albans School of Art, London College of Printing and Graphic Arts. Freelance from 1962. Designer of British stamps and illustrator of 'Shell' and other books. Represented in many collections. Served as President of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours. Lived at Welwyn, Herts for many years. Died on 14th November 2018 Produced posters for BR and the Post Office.

Produced artwork for LMR (C) series.
