Edwin Byatt (RI 1888-1948)

Landscape painter in watercolour. Born 16/12/1888. Educated Wandsworth, London. Apprenticed for seven years to lithographic artist. Later a commercial artist and illustrator for James Haworth photographic studios and printers producing showcards. Lived Ewell, Surrey. Died 6/5/1948. Produced posters for LNER.

Produced artwork for LNER Pre-War series.
